Sensory-Friendly Experiences
Inclusive, hands-on experiences designed for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Through creative, sensory-friendly activities, we provide opportunities to build confidence, explore new interests, connect with others, and simply have fun in a welcoming environment.

A Perfect Day – Sensory, Respite & Family Support

A Perfect Day is FOTS’s developing sensory, respite, and family-support initiative designed to create safe, inclusive opportunities for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities while giving parents and caregivers access to meaningful support and relief. APD will grow through community-based programming, sensory experiences, respite opportunities, and ultimately mobile and permanent service models.

Swim Scholarship Program

​Expanding access to swim instruction for children with autism and other developmental disabilities by helping families overcome financial barriers to safe, supportive, and adaptive swim lessons.

Grooming Intitiative

Building confidence through accessible, sensory-conscious grooming experiences for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Through community partnerships, we help families access supportive barbering and grooming services in an understanding environment.

An inclusive, hands-on cooking experience where children with autism and other developmental disabilities create, explore, and connect alongside their parent or caregiver. Each experience encourages confidence, creativity, family connection, and fun.

Community Outreach & Resources
Connecting families with valuable information, local organizations, service providers, and community resources. Through resource tables, information sessions, and community partnerships, we help families discover support available to them.

EMBRACE
church/community-based respite model

EMBRACE brings sensory-friendly respite and family support into churches and community spaces through trained volunteers, quiet spaces, inclusive activities, and partnerships designed to help individuals with developmental disabilities participate while caregivers receive meaningful support.

Creative, sensory-friendly art experiences designed to encourage self-expression, confidence, and connection. Through partnerships with local artists and organizations, participants can explore creativity in welcoming and inclusive environments.

Fall Into Inclusion Autism Walk & Carnival
*Annual Program*
Our annual signature community event brings families, supporters, businesses, and resource organizations together for an Autism Walk, sensory-friendly activities, family fun, resources, vendors, entertainment, and opportunities to support the continued growth of FOTS programs and A Perfect Day.
